Valencia Golf and Country Club reopened in 2010 after a complete renovation of the greens and course in Tiburon. It is a semi-private real estate community that is preservation for Florida’s impressive cypress strands, rich, pungent green pines, and tropical palm trees as well as some of the most remarkable wildlife in the country. It has been rated with 4 stars and is just a mere nine miles from I-75. The club is only minutes from extravagant dining, sunny beaches, bustling boardwalks, and designer shopping.
Gordon Lewis originally designed the par-72, 18-hole course in 1997 and gave it a complete over haul in 2010. It provides 7,145 acres of rolling, green fairways carpeted with sweet smelling Bermuda grass. Florida’s beautiful, natural landscape decorates the course heightening the golfer’s experience. The course is designed to challenge the novice, the average, and expert player alike. A complete service, pro golf and sport shop is provided to assist with all of the members’ needs and a professional golfer for individual instruction. The putting greens measure 5,000square feet and the chipping green spans 5,500 square feet providing plenty of practice space.
The clubhouse affords numerous opportunities for fun, play, and relaxation to members. There is a huge, heated swimming pool, restaurants for gourmet food and simple luncheons, and a professional health and fitness club with many Naples golf homes. The faculty organizes and schedules many social events and activities throughout the year as well.
The Pelican Marsh Golf and Country Club has several housing opportunities. A golf and club membership is included in the home package purchase. There is something here for all members of the family. There are sports for the active; fun and sun for those who wish to kick back and relax; and plenty of shopping and fine dining.
Single family home prices begin at about $200,000 and range up to over $500,000 as do the condos.
