Members at Imperial are able to enjoy the North/South Club Alliance that Imperial is a member of. This means that Imperial members are able to travel to some of the most prestigious clubs in the Northern United States and enjoy use of their facilities throughout the year. Park Country Club in NY, Plymouth Country Club and Massachusetts and Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club in Virginia are just a few of the Northern club members. Members of Imperial enjoy many amenities including jogging paths and bike paths, including some long distance ones. There is also a state of the art fitness center with free weights, cardio equipment, dance classes, certified trainers and a host of other fitness classes. There is a heated swimming pool and spa area and this is great because in Naples it can be enjoyed all year round. The tennis center is also a popular feature and it has four lighted tennis courts and a staff of USTA certified instructors.
One of the best parts of being a member of Imperial Golf Club is the busy social calendar. There is a full calendar of activities and social events for all ages, so you can participate as much or as little as you please. They are organized by the professional and friendly staff whom pride themselves on knowing each member and greeting them by name. Some of the activities offered are on site and some, like the wave runner tours, trips to the Philaharmonic fishing charter trips, bike excursions, kayaking get togethers and sunset cruises are off site. Some activities offered onsite include wine tastings, unique themed events where guests have the option of dressing up for the theme of the evening, as well as book clubs, trivia nights and seafood nights. These provide a convenient place to mingle with friends, members and neighbors, all while being surrounded by luxury and beautiful natural surroundings.

Philanthropy and History of the Club
Imperial Golf Club and its members believe in giving back to the community. Throughout the year, Imperial donates golf merchandise and rounds of golf at the club. They also host charity dinner events and charity golf events. Some of the charities that they work with include the St. Mathews House Charity Golf a Thon, American Cancer Society, Grace Place, Szwed Golf Classic and Baron Collier. The history of the club dates back to 1968 when Lloyd Sheehan, a property developer, purchased one thousand acres on undeveloped land. In 1972 a group of local accomplished golfers were looking to create a place that they could play championship golf and so they contacted Sheehan and agreed to purchase one hundred and sixty acres and build the golf course, which later became Imperial Golf Club. Later on, another one hundred and thirty acres were purchased and this became the West course. The grand opening was held on November 15th, 1973.
